Virtual Tours

Tuesday, March 24, 2020

During 2008-2009, my dh was assigned to work in London, in the UK, and so we spent the year living in that wonderful city.

Some of my favorite museums are in London, and I have discovered that now there are virtual tours available online for some of them. (Many of them are currently closed because of the Coronavirus pandemic.)

The British Museum is where I saw with my own eyes the famous Rosetta Stone, and a genuine Egyptian mummy.

The Tower of London has a dark history - and contains the collection of the royal jewels.

I have only listed a couple of the online possibilities. You may find others that you like better.
It is very exciting, though, to see that these tours are available to us as we sit at our computers across the pond.

Seeing the world online is a real possibility.
These are only two museums in London....
London is only one location in Europe...
Europe is only one continent in our wide world....

The possibilities are endless
(as we are quarantined inside our homes)
we can tour the world...
