First Weigh in

Saturday, April 11, 2020

This has been a wonderful and productive week! I have managed 4 hours of homework per day plus some great Spring cleaning. emoticon emoticon I went to my garden on Thursday and my wife and I weeded four 5x10 raised beds. emoticon I then added soil (with help) and watered the perennials already in the ground. We will go plant on Monday. emoticon I got a lot of exercise that day! I have been journaling regularly and I am back to my schedule. emoticon

I tested my running shoes emoticon and now my foot hurts as bad as in the beginning I think I did something to it. That's it I am going to wear the boot inside no more bare feet in the house. emoticon I am going to put the comfrey on it every day and take my supplements and I will be way more careful! Despite cost I am going to go to PT for my foot. I couldn't really afford it. This thing will heal! emoticon I hurt my shoulder when working on the garden I went to the doctor and he was not pleased with my shoulder's progress. Probably because I have been out of PT while sick, so 4 weeks because they won't take me in until 2 weeks after my last symptom. That's okay I will be back on Thursday.

I have been up since sunrise for a workshop I wanted to take. emoticon Then it's my 4 hours dedicated to schoolwork. I have a few errands to run this afternoon then we are going to color eggs today emoticon and prime the rocks for painting. I still paint eggs with my daughter and get her chocolate for Easter morning emoticon . I will get up at sunrise tomorrow and attend a virtual church service. I love Easter. emoticon There is just something special about it.

On Sundays I like to organize. I will be Spring cleaning my office emoticon which means the books are taken off the bookshelves and they get wiped down, Etc. I have papers to go through and organize since I have been sick. I try to keep up with that sort of thing.

Anyway I guess I sort of rambled on in this one. I lost a pound this week. Baby steps!

emoticon on the weight loss. ANY loss is a positive!
It sounds like you have lots planned to stay busy. It is easy to overdo it when recovering from an injury because everything feels like it's fully healed when maybe it isn't. Hope that the foot and shoulder are soon completely well and ready for action!

YIKES on the foot and shoulder!! Are we related?? Yes, please do wear your boot as long as it's helping. I can tell when mine doesn't,,it hurts me instead of feeling good. YEAH On PT coming right up.

Remember my dear teammate "Rome wasn't built in a day." type of thing. Do a wee bit each day,,, it'll always be there for you later on. Housework,,,, I do it of course, and I keep looking ever just so, but if I do not feel well and I don't dust,,, the dust WILL wait for me. LOL its funny that way. Though it's an UNWANTED Guest, it doesn't leave as asked. emoticon
