Hi everyone. Can't believe it's the first of July already. Where did the other months go since January? While looking at the calendar, I realized that if my Dad were still alive he would be celebrating his 100th birthday tomorrow. But I'm sure there will be a big celebration in Heaven.

Did little things today like go to the drive-in window at the bank and at the drugstore. I then went and got my hair cut in a wedge style..shorter on the sides, but it still feathers back on the sides. The last haircut about 3 weeks ago. I just wasn't happy with. It was still too long (at my request, not the stylist) I think I will like this length and style now.

Just finished practicing Allyson, the alto, and used the #3 strength reed that I had ordered by mistake. I like it. Arjay said my tone is crisper. I'm glad I made that mistake now. I hope the #3 works just as well for Willow, the soprano when I get it. But I won't get that one until the 7th to the 14th.

This is a new month. I have decided I will not eat any more chocolate candy. I have realized I am addicted to it. My husband loves the fun size milky ways and he has 2 or 3 every night as his snack. I found I can't have just one. I sometimes had 4 and I am ashamed at that. I am treading this as an addiction, so I am abstaining from chocolate candy, period. Since I am a Type 2 diabetic I shouldn't have it anyway. So here's to a new start in a new month.

That's about it folks. Have a great night and emoticon pleasant dreams. emoticon

Florida is having record breaking temps already! Ugh. Hard to go out for walks in it. Yuma must think I've abandoned him again. I just don't want to be in 4th of July crowds at the park. Plus, now we're going to get another dose of Sahara dust next week. Can't be outside in that, bad for breathing.
Those trigger foods are so hard to handle. We have to stay away from them for at least awhile to build up the willpower.
Glad the sax practice is coming along.

    Stay safe. emoticon emoticon
