How is everyone holding up to this heat? I know I have been staying indoors more than I normally do. For some reason, I just can't handle the heat. We are one week away from Brad going to New York for his first surgery. He is mentally ready for it, now we have to get there. Chris came home the other night all upset from work. A customer came in and told him that he had been in the restraurant on Monday night and Wednesday he got his covid test back and it was positive. Chris notified the owners and had a discussion about it. The server had been wearing a mask and should be okay, however he is afraid they are all compromised now. The server is going to testing. The management doesn't want to close the place, and Chris feels they should. So he has said that if the server's test comes back positive, he will call the health dept and report them even though it will cost him his job. So we are praying for a good result. If she comes back positive, then we will be quarantined and Margaret won't be over to Brad's to watch the kids while Brad and Kati are in New York. Another thing to worry about. Went to Mass tonight and found out that our neighboring parish, the Pastor and Associate pastor have both been exposed and so their church is closed for 2 week quarantine. So we had extra people at our church. We are allowed 50% but with social distancing, the still can't allow more people in. Work the last two weeks has been so busy as we have a roll out of Office 365 and some folks are so resistant to change. But as Kelli Clarkson says "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" so I am getting stronger every day!
