Well. Thought I should update my blog. Finally got to cardiologist appt. Dr wants extra tests scheduled. Wants another chemical stress test. Wants to rule out artery blockage, or will have to go in with camera again to check. Not looking forward to either. But, it is what it is. Dr did adjust beats per minute on my pacemaker. Plus said the battery is still good for at least another 3 to 4 years before replacement.
Watching/playing with our 2 yr old grandson to distract him from bothering his 9 yr old sister who is doing her online classes right now.
It's been a challenge for the whole family but being hone / disabled, and still being able to take care of the kids so grandma and step daughter can be at work and not worry about loosing jobs.
I've got to go as our " little one" clearly said it was time for diaper change. So with that said....

You asked if I felt better with pacemaker? Well, I thought it was going to be the " magic bullet ". Unfortunately, no. Along with the pacemaker, AFIB, I have congestive heart failure. I do things without assistance, clean house. Cook, laundry, take care ig the kids , but I'm only good for about 30-40 ,, minutes. Then, I have to sit and rest for at least 10 minutes. It takes me awhile to get everything done but I do get it done. I'm here still for a reason as over the past 3 yrs I've had 8 heart attacks.

Keep taking life one day at a time. Hope that all goes well with your stress test. I'm also glad that doctor is keeping up on the status of your heart beats. He knows what's best for you. Now that you have a pacemaker, do you feel you have more energy? I mean now that your heart is regulated, do you feel less sluggish? I hope so.

Keep doing what you know is best for you. Don't let food control the outcome of your day. I know that's easy to type, but really why let it control your health's outcome?

You're doing a very important job by watching your grand kids and I applaud you for doing it. People don't really know how much work young kids are until they walk in your shoes.
