Goals for this month

Setting some goals. Maybe if I focus a little at a time on healthy habits I won't have to jump into a long line of depression at thinkin: How can I do all that. So once a month goal for September.
Its almost over so I have to think.

This will be a hard one for me. I have my down days when I feel I can't do this. I live alone so I have a lot of time to think. Tooo much time! I have started by reading more articles on spark. So
1. read one article a day. Make it positive.

music always makes me feel better so
2. Listen to at least 2 upbeat songs a day. It kind of gets my feet tapping and my heart pumping lol.


Along with this one is dancing.
3. Spend 10 min a day dancing to toe tapping music. Its good exercise and gets me moving. I have to be careful with my knee but I could either shimmy or do the twist without a lot of knee movement,

4. Walk at least 10 min. a day and do at least 10 min of strength training a day.

5. Do something fun or watch a feel good movie.

    My goals are similar, keep moving each day- 10 min or more. I love to exercise to The Greatest Showman soundtrack. Come Alive is a fun song- I can't be still when it's on! emoticon
    Have you ever watched Dancing with the stars or The Masked Singer (Sept 23 premier) Fun shows!
    That's a good idea to not overwhelm yourself. Like I'm trying to avoid sweets and chips, but I have one serving of Larabars and plain pretzels to keep me from going crazy!

    My goals are always the same. My main ones are 8 cups of water a day, 15,000 steps a day, and eat within my calorie range. I like to have the music on all day keeps me going and clears out the quiet. Don't forget you can always dance in your chair.

    Well, I've been watching what I eat and drink, working on getting my 8 glasses of water, mindful of my calorie intake and exercising regular. emoticon My goals are more of a personal nature, becoming a better version of myself and walking out on big faith emoticon emoticon emoticon oh emoticon emoticon

    Hah! You're right - everyone's checking their phones! I used to tell my kids not to worry what others were thinking of them - they WEREN'T thinking of them half as much as they were worrying about what everyone else was thinking of THEM.

    Good goals. Mine, for right now?

    - Log in to SparkPeople daily;
    - Weigh in;
    - Log every bite:
    - Update blog once a week;
    - Participate.

    2 lbs. per week is my weight loss goal.
