Week 449 ... MB 233 ....

Morning Sparkies,

A Spring day today, Sunshine then rain, strong winds then repeat :), hope Beauty doesn't mind waiting for the Sunshine part for her veges :)

Lots of knitting done this week with the weather warming I need to get it finished, nothing yukkier than knitting on a hot day :).

Graphs for the lettering

Finished another Snood gift for a friend

Also another Old Gold one for a friend

I am working on an orange one for DD. :)

Such a lovely pattern however it requires concentration as it is 18 pattern rows !! :)

I am looking to redo a cardigan I made a while ago as the collar is loose so I will give it a go, undo and use a smaller size needle to fix the problem :)

Hubby's job drags on as he needs to wait for others to give information, funny or not so funny is that other jobs are coming in that have to be put on hold for now.... feast or famine :) .

Teleheath call with GP this week she wants me to go in and get paperwork for bloods and urine tests. I am hesitant and will wear a scarf around my face. Even though it is not a rule in my state, people are flying in daily from around the world and who knows ??? Must think of my Hubby and son.

Latest painting from DD :)

Well lovely people the rain has stopped so I will go get some vege to the wonderful Beauty :).

Have a lovely week,

Enjoy 'today', laugh, share memories and give yourself a hug :)

Hugs

Christine

You really are a talented family. Inspiring because I could start a knitting project but it needs to be simple. That snood is amazing. I could stop by our knit shop and see what they muggt have for me.

Yes, I don't blame you. Right now you just have to be so careful!

The sweater came out nicely. Love the E on the pocket. We’re getting cooler as you are getting warmer. I agree about knitting with sweaty hands. Yuck! I hope Beauty gets her veggies soon. Enjoy your day. emoticon emoticon

Really enjoyed your blog!! Hard to imagine your days getting warmer as ours get cooler very quickly!! Your GS sweater is just marvellous -- right down to the choice of buttons -- and he will look very handsome in it!! Perhaps his mum will ensure it's saved for HIS son some day.

And your snoods: so delicate and complicated and pretty.

Enjoyed your daughter's art work too -- just a family full of creativity!! Here's a poem which my father would recite (over the objections of my mother!!):

A wonderful bird is the pelican
His beak holds as much as his bellican
He can hold in his beak enough food for a week
Which makes you wonder -- how the hellican!!

It was many years until I actually SAW a pelican!!

Wow. Wow. Wow. Could just leave it at that. You never cease to amaze me how talented you are. Love the sweater snoods and what fortunate friends you have. Your daughters artwork is so realistic. It’s mandatory to wear mask here but not enforced and people push their rights to not. Already 3 deaths over it and police said they are not going to make any arrests for those who don’t. Makes elections this year another hot topic locally. Keep sharing the joy

Such a talented family. I love the photos?

"Flying in from around the world?" Really? I thought your borders were closed after the last spike in cases.

More great work. You are so talented with knitting and DD is doing great with her painting.

Every medical appointments I have had so far has required masks, even when I got a mammogram earlier this week, I had to wear a mask the whole time I was in the facility. I know I won’t be able to wear one when I have procedure on my nose this Wednesday to remove skin cancer again. Personally I wish I could put this appointment off but I know the quicker it is done, the better. LOL.

Have a super week and keep on keeping on Christine.

Christine, another set of awesome photos of your work! They are beautiful pieces. DD's art work is also great!

Consider taking all precautions when going to the GP even if face coverings are not required where you are. It's better to be safe than sorry.

    Hugs to you! emoticon
