I had some excitement today! I got to chase a delivery man down the street. I caught him, but I didn't bite him.
He left a package at our door that wasn't ours. I was glad I was home when it was delivered so that it could get where it belongs on time. I will be equally glad to be back at work tomorrow, if not more so.
I got up earlier today to watch a Christmas movie before my hubby got home for lunch. I plan to make some more Christmas cookies this afternoon. I've been making half batches so that they stay fresh until they are eaten, and so we don't have too overly many at one time.
I finally heard from the health department on this, my last day of isolation. What a joke. They asked about my symptoms and if I had traveled out of state. They said my husband, who I got Covid from, should start his quarantine last Sunday, unless he is an essential worker, in which case he doesn't need to quarantine at all. Wha-what??? They said our son doesn't matter unless he is in high school. Seriously??? They weren't the slightest bit interested in where I had been or who I had been in contact with. No wonder cases keep going up in our county. I'm appalled and disgusted with them, and would report them if I had a clue who to report them to. If you know, please clue me in. They belong on the naughty list.
