Grilled Cabbage Steaks
large head of cabbage, cut into ½"-thick rounds ( I use toothpicks to keep it together)
Extra-virgin olive oil, for brushing
salt & pepper
Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
4 slices of bacon fried (crumbled or chopped
1/2 c of crumbled blue cheese,
Ranch dressing
(I used my George Foreman)
Heat grill over medium-high heat. Brush cabbage steaks on both sides with oil and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.( I used toothpicks to hold the steaks together}
Place on grill and cook until tender, about 5 minutes per side. (NOT AS LONG ON THE GEORGE FOREMAN GRILL)
Top with bacon, blue cheese, and drizzle with ranch dressing before serving.
no grill can also be baked in oven
Take a whole cabbage and quarter it. we make a garlic butter and rub it all over the cabbage you can melt the butter and brush it on. we then wrap it in bacon and wrap in foil bake at 375 for 30 to 45 mins its amazing. After baking sprinkle with crumbled Blue cheese, then drizzle with ranch dressing
