Tale of a Homemade Slushie Maker

My roommates like to drive to Speedway and Taco Bell to buy large slushies.

Last night, I took matters into my own hands.

Why pay all of that money?

Would you like to know what I did?

I got out the blender, water, ice cubes, sugar and a Kool-Aid packet.
Throw the ingredients into the blender.
Crush.
Pour or scoop into a large cup and grab a straw.

My local grocery store sells 10 packets of any flavor Kool-Aid for $1.00!

Now sip, gulp or chug. I made the roommates black cherry, by the way.

Yes, I am frugal.
