BodyFat Measure January 9, 2021: The Hungries Games

Saturday, January 09, 2021

###THIS WEEK
The hungries have subsided, the weight is slowly crawling back down toward the mid 190's. As I change up workouts and/or the exercise regiment itself, they will presumably return

Exercise went well. Tapered off toward the end of the week, but the kickboxing routine I found has become more challenging as I've been able to do the moves more. This always a good sign.

###NSV
Of the 7 or 8 pairs of jeans/cargoes that were mainstays of my wardrobe at 209-212, one of them still fits. Sort of. If I wear a t-shirt polo untucked over it.

Over the past two months, I have pretty much completely overhauled the jeans section of my wardrobe with 36" ones.

True to form;
-Most fit.
-One is looser than the rest (probably should have been a 38) and
-One is the, "don't want to wear these to the all you can eat or unlimited bread before" meal restaurants.

###MEASUREMENTS
12 December -- 20%
19 December -- 21%
26 December -- 21%
02 January -- 22%
09 January -- 20%

Average: 20.8%
IQR: 20-21 (The "Q"stands for "Quintile!!" Ha ha!! Funny stats joke there) (*)

###REFLECTIONS
At this point it's time to really reflect on what I want out of all of this. I'm kind of a numbers guy (see hysterical (**) joke above). I don't think that the same approach used for weight loss will work with this.

It's time to start focusing on what might get me there and figure out how to enjoy the ride and arrival a little bit more. Will blog about this next Saturday.

###CONCLUSIONS
- Things are going well
- Time to focus on motivation
- Math is funny (***)

-TD Out!

Editor's notes
(*) How does Trent stay single, exactly?
(**) That's one adjective for it.
(***) Ugh.

Kickboxing is a fun workout. Always exciting!
I'd play this by maintaining goal weight and then work on building muscle.
Looks like that's what you're doing anyway. Do you lift?
What's the end goal? What needs to happen for you to "arrive"?

I always hated stats, but loved maths, just as well as I taught it for several years....

Funny Ha-ha, or funny weird? I hated my stats classes with a passion. I got an A in them, but I detested them. They were useless for my degree, but they helped me graduate with honors.
Your stats are still great, your mindset is too.

Pleases continue to wipe the lip-prints from your mirror while enjoying your "percentile- look".
