It's true, isn't it?
THE CHOICE IS OURS!
Just think about it...
In 30 days, one month, a little over 4 weeks, you CAN do so much toward your goals!
If you truly worked at them, you really could be BLOWN AWAY by how much you've improved in some area (how you look? how you feel? how you perform? etc)!
If you haven't really done much work toward any goal...
you could really regret not having done your best.
The last month has been really busy for me!
Here at SP it brought a milestone in hitting LEVEL 25 (350,000 sparkpoints)!
It also meant 60 days (now at 63) in a row of logging in, tracking everything, reading articles, trying some new exercise videos, even meeting some new people!
And it has also been a month where my weight loss is moving back in the right direction; after a very long year of not doing so!
While here at home...
We've had to buy a different car - just in the last week - previous car needs too much in repairs now. Which leads us to the search of that "safe place" we put that car's title & other paperwork in!
Related, but not exactly, I've decided to "downsize" my room; my smallish bedroom in my definitely small apartment. So I'm digging through all sorts of stuff - boxes, bins, tubs, files, etc. - in a disorganized but somewhat logical way; partly following Marie Kondo's idea (if it doesn't bring you joy, get rid of it) but tempering that with necessity. After all, there are some things we just have to have even if it brings us no joy. Right?
Anyway, my end result is whatever isn't necessary (for my sewing, my little business, my personal things, or my sleep) will no longer be in MY room. Mostly - I hope to be rid of it (trash, recycle, donate, sell), but some will likely go back into storage until that future day that I move back into a real house again.
One might think all that extra activity could lead to some loss of weight. Personally, I don't think that at all.
The loss seen as 2 pounds somewhere on my page is "off" because I've not updated it for awhile until today. Reality is since 1/11/2021 I've been participating in a weight loss challenge for R3 - Reset, Reintroduce, Real Life. Based on my starting weight for that, my weight today, is down 5 pounds in 10 days! And after all the various programs, plans, diets, etc. I've explored THIS ONE - R3 - seems very much like "a match made in heaven!"
Next Monday 1/24/2021, is the next official weight & measurements day! I'm truly looking forward to it! Not dreading it at all! Since mid-2019 I've been on a gaining trend; a few dips down here and there, but overall gaining back (now, I'm going to be very direct & very vulnerable here...) from 270 then to 315 at the end of 2020. It's been very frustrating not finding anything that would consistently (there's that word again) lead me to losing a little bit.
The challenge ends on 2/22/2021... right about 30 DAYS from now.
I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT I CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THESE NEXT 30 DAYS!!!
I AM GIVING IT MY ALL
