nice day

Saturday, February 27, 2021

The grandkids, dogs, and I spent almost 3 hours at the park today. It was so nice out. They played tag with some neighbor kids.

A few high schoolers and some younger kids. Mine are 7 and 11. The 7 year old is normally anti social but she was right in there with the rest of them. I was in shock. She normally will stand away from the crowd and watch. It was so weird. I kind of felt like I was in a weird movie.

Our older dog (Bradley) hated every minute of it. He would rather lay around the house. Poor guy.

The puppy (Kaylee) loved it though she would not let anyone touch her. Bradley is a social dog. Kaylee is not.

Later, my daughter, and her crew came over for dinner and game night. It was a very busy day.

I read some labels. The kids had some chips. They had 2 different kinds. I noticed that they pretty much had the same calories, etc. Odd. I then read the prunes label. It was very different.

My grandson wanted to earn some money so I had him sweep and mop the bulk of the house. He did ok. I had him go over a few areas. Then he cleaned the spare bathroom. He did really well at that. Tomorrow, he said he would help me with cat pans and clean the kennel for the one cat. We shall see how that goes. Those are no fun at all.

I had grands too, the youngest 2, since Friday. We played a tag and hiding game they made up and call Granny. One of the rules is that you have to walk--but it can be a VERY fast walk. We also played several basketball games, horse, 4-square, ect outdoors. And quite a few table games and cards. Whew! I was done out when they went home late last night! Surprisingly sore today, and had to push myself to move, lol. It was a good week-end.
