Honestly, I kinda (unrealistically) thought that I would be reporting big weekly weight losses and other physical feats when I started posting about working towards my health goals. While it’s been a little more slow-going than I’d imagined, I’m delighted with where I’m heading.
Consistently honouring my daily commitment to making my body stronger and healthier through cardio, weightlifting and stretching.
Ditching about 10 pounds over 10 weeks.
Stronger ab and leg muscles.
Less knee, back and hip pain. *Extra Bonus* Less pain means more peaceful sleeps.
Stuff that works for me:
Breaking up cardio into 10 – 15 minute bite-sized chunks at a time on days when I can’t get it all in at once (usually work days).
Treating myself to 10 minutes of yoga every morning before I start my day. Using those sessions to reaffirm my intention of getting a little stronger every day.
