It's been a busy several weeks, and I'm just now getting around to posting on Spark again...

First the breast surgery for a lump that, thankfully, was benign. It was still cause for concern, though; and I had to devote my energies for getting past that... Had surgery two weeks ago, today, and all is well!

Now I'm busy getting ready for my walk, on October 6, for Autism Speaks. I'm so proud to be doing this for my 3 boys! Today I walked for an hour and 10 minutes, 3.7 miles; and I'm amazed. I don't know if I EVER could have done that in the past; but thanks to losing the 45+ pounds and doing regular exercise for the past several months, it was not all that difficult. I want to spend the next year getting really, really healthy; so maybe next year I can do the 3-day walk for breast cancer on behalf of my niece.

It's good to be back...
