Oh, but you gotta have friends.............

It's not what you know about a place, but who you know.
I just heard that on the travel channel show,"Anthony Bourdain No Reservations" I love HGTV, and The Travel Channel, plus Prime Time of course! Anyway I thought the statement could very easily apply to Sparks. I mean come on, who really wants to know what you ate for breakfast?? Or how you lost 2 lbs last week, or walked 2 miles??? Your Spark buddies, that's who! The road out of this fat body, will not happen over night. But if you stay true to the course, it will happen. And it is so so nice to be on this road with others. If we get lost we can call out to someone ahead of us who knows the way. Most importantly we will have our friends when we arrive, and they will make it so comfortable that we will stay!!! At this point I am more interested in losing it, but I realize if I do lose it, not finding it again will be my new goal. Here's to goals, to my Spark friends, and to a great new week!

Bonnie - so true! it's your Spark friends that will help you celebrate that hard earned 2 # loss, or help you not to beat yourself up when you slip, motivate you to keep going when you don't think you have it in you. Here's to all those great 'life-lines' on SP!

Bonnie you hit it on the head, many people join spark, add friends but forget one very basic have friends you must be a've certainly proven that by giving of yourself. Being involved in others progress, being part of a support system is a great safety net for those times when your personal journey may get rough. Keep up the great work.

Anthony Bourdain is a wise man (not to mention TOO funny!) but it takes a wise person to relate what he says to themselves, too.

    Keep it up, Bonnie!
