WOW Anna, that is way out of control. My gma had it, my older half brother developed
it about a year before he died, and now my daughter has it.

Her problem is she is a stress eater, add she just plain likes to eat good food and there
you go....she is in a high stress job also.....her weight has to come off...and she knows
it...she has lost before down to about 110 and looked awful due to being too thin so she
fell off the wagon.....

I applaud you for hanging in there and trying to fix your issues before they get in an
uncontrollable situation. I have kidney disease so I know it does happen...

To say the least. I don't know how I keep up with everything. On top of all of that, my mom is having some health issues (heart, sugar, etc) & gave us a HUGE scare last week when she was admitted to ICU because her sugar was 1015. Yes, 1015. It's just by the grace of God she did not go into a coma.

Hi everybody. It's Anna formally GOTTALOOSE.

It's been a while. A LOT has happened & changed. My grandson was born back in August. He's amazing. My husband & I separated in November. We are waiting for our divorce to be final. But since the separation, little did I know my soul mate has been in sitting in my church for the past 3 years. I am happier than I've ever been. It's one of those when you know you know. We are planning to get married as soon as the divorce is final. I know! FAST! But I've never been more sure of anything.

I had gotten to my heaviest before my grandson was born (209). I did WW but after he came along, I quit. After the separation I lost down to 187. I have now gained back to 193. I have a lot coming up to look forward to & need to get back on track.

Oh did I mention my daughter is getting married in July. Yea, so I am also wedding planning out my ears right now. Let's don't forget work, grandson, church, ect....

Welcome back. Conolences on the loss of your husband. I can't imagine how devastating that is. There is help in Anniston called Christian Women's Job Corp. They can help you get a job. They also help with classes like: how to interview, honing your skills (or helping with schooling), dress for success, budgeting, etc.
Let me know if you want the number to contact them.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your srength and all your might. Love your neighbor as yourself.

I am Degamom1 I am from Talladega, Ala I have been on Sparkpeople in the past but somehow I lost my motivation and quit. A lot has happened since I quit the most devasting was when I lost my husband of 25 years on July 27, 2016 at the age of 57 I guess at the current time I am trying to find my way out of the depression that came with the passing of my husband I have gained around 50 lbs since he passed I already had extremely high blood pressure before he passed now it is even higher. I will be celebrating my 61st birthday tomorrow, I have 2 grown sons ages 20 and 24 I am currently on disability due to uncontrolled high blood pressure I would love to have a part time job right now to help with the emptiness that I feel but nothing is here as far as jobs. I know I have to pull myself together and get this weight off I have lost weight with WW in the past and hope to be able to do it again I don't exercise at all hopefully that also will change. I look forward to seeing how all ya'll are doing and getting some help along the way.
