I think that is brilliant. If you dance and smile you can not feel down. By the way I swim and I am in Korea. Literally when I walk into the pool area the heads spin around and I am watched. The average female weight in Korea is 54kg. I am 90kgs I just walk on get in the water and swim my lengths. Luckily I am a competent swimmer and have stamina in the water so I can swim and not notice anybody else. I get out and shower, all in silence as nobody speaks English and I go home well excercised and feeling good about the tons of calories I have burned while doing an excercise I enjoy....so ..my philosophy is nobody can make me feel that I am not allowed to swim. Have fun, dance like nobody is watching as the saying goes

Welcome. It is hard not to do the things you used to do. When I started walking, I was very large. I was morbidly obese. I drove to a walking trail a few miles from my home so I wouldn't see anyone I knew. There was a woman walking on the trail the same time of day I did.

It was spectacular watching the change in her body as she walked every day. I didn't see that the same thing was happening to me. Finally I found the courage to walk in my own neighborhood.

Never once did anyone say anything about the fat lady who was walking. I think we are our own worst enemies.

Go ahead and swim. It is a great workout and you will feel so great when you get done. Dance every day. It isn't your problem if people are stupid and rude, but most of the time, they aren't.

Be sure to stay in your calorie range and write down every bite you eat.

Well welcome and you just dance dance dance, that sounds like a very wonderful thing to do, and 15 minutes of dancing is great start out with small goals. And since you love to dance it should be easy. I wish you much success. i just promised myself 15 minutes on the treadmill, i am starting out small and will eventually work my way up. But its better than having no goals at all.
