I do the same thing with the typing. I'll reread what I wrote till I get it just right (a touch OCD and the anxiety of opening up can be overwhelming) You are not alone. emoticon

Thank you both! Panic attacks are absolutely horrible ☹️. I've been to the hospital a lot as well because I feel as if I'm dying when I have a big one. Being checked out is definitely comforting! I've been seeing my therapist since last August, so I'm really hoping it helps. It's hard to live like this. My anxiety is too bad to try CBD oil honestly. I don't even let myself drink a beer because I'm scared my anxiety will raise. I'm happy to be here! And I'll do my absolute best to come back every day. I'm extremely awkward when I'm feeling anxious, and that's pretty much all the time lol I type and question if what I typed is stupid, then a lot of time I delete and leave. I'm working on it!

Welcome to the team! I have panic attacks that feel like heart attacks and end up in the ER because heart disease runs rampant in both sides of my family that I panic more if I don't get it checked out. It's sooooo debilitating!

My anxiety stems from PTSD. There are so many ups and downs associated with it. My therapist is great. I've been with him for years. He does DBT, CBT and EMDR and it has all been helpful to me.

I tried CBD oil, without checking with my doctor and I ended up going to the hospital via ambulance. The EMT threw out my CBD oil. I mentioned to my doctor on the follow-up visit, and she agreed with the EMT. If you're going to go that route, check with your doctor first. Also, keep in mind that it's relatively new and not many studies, if any, have been done on it. I've also heard that it helps a few people, not many. So you may be one of the lucky few it helps and doesn't hurt.

emoticon LYNNPANDA!!!! I have panic attacks and anxiety attacks as well, was recently having several panic attacks a day and it can be so crippling! To me it seems like people expect me to just jump back up after one, when I'm totally drained and usually feeling so much it is impossible. I started taking hemp derived CBD oil (touchy subject, I know it is not for everyone) but it has helped me and I'm not having as many. Therapy helps. A lot. If you have a good therapist. If not it can make it worse. I've finally gotten a good one I've been seeing for a few years after several really awful ones.

Hi everyone! I'm 30, have 2 kids, and have GAD, panic disorder, agoraphobia, and Depression. I am overweight, 200 pounds at 5'3. I have trouble exercising due to my panic attacks. I have them multiple times a day, sometimes when I'm just sitting down doing nothing. They're horrible and stop me from doing a lot. I've been in therapy since August, so I'm hoping it helps in the long run! I'm glad for groups like this! I hope everyone is having a wonderful night/day!
