Hi from Missouri and nice to meet you. Awesome that you have learned to weave. I loved woven throws, etc.

Maybe you could take some time and get back to biking. Sounds like you loved it and it helped to manage your weight.

I am a gardner too and have been enjoying our first crop of the season - fresh asparagus. I love it and always hate to see the season end.

Take care and welcome to the team.

Greetings from Winthrop, Wa.
I am very new to Spark People, and I come with intent to lose weight and feel more motivated to do so. Born and raised in Idaho, I love the Methow Valley here in northeastern Washington as the climate is much the same.
I am an addicted gardener and landscaping is a lifelong project as well. August of 2011, I learned how to weave using a floor standing weaving loom, I am addicted to the amazing craft of making 'fabric'.
Back in the days (my 30's and 40's), I was an avid mountain biking guru logging hundreds of hours pushing and pedaling the mountain trails. I even used to race, chuckles.
Now I am overweight.
Hubby and I have been involved in new house construction for 8 years now, and seeing light at the end of the tunnel (ceiling pine, window trim, and flooring) and hope to finish this year.
We are beginning to get outside and 'play' again. With that I will close, wishing you all a delightful day.
