Thank God that was my last pregnancy! I always gained a ton of weight!

I think I'll need to change my calorie range every week or two to keep my body guessing.

Im right there with you. I had to buy pants 2-3 sizes up from my pre-preggo weight. So sad!

thank you! I've lowered my calories since thanksgiving and have lost 3.6 pounds! (of the 5 I gained mind you). I am very much a creature of habit so it's hard to change things up! I guess I'll continue this (has varied from less than a thousand on thanksgiving- can you believe it!- but really from 1200-1600) until I stall again and then maybe increase? When I increased to 1800 I lost for a couple of weeks. I need to fit into my prepregnancy pants. I feel rediculous!

I agree, sounds like you've just hit a plateau and your body just needs that shock of something different!

Hi Psalm42,

I think you have 2 options - either reduce your calorie intake a bit more or start to regularly exercise. Your body needs another kick.
I hope you can get back into the losing streak. I have 10 kilos to lose and a 6 week old baby. I am blessed to have a cross trainer at home so I just jump on that for 30 mins every day. I am aiming for 1800 cals too.
All the best,
Michelle

I am still breastfeeding my almost 9 month old. I've only lost 9 pounds since the beginning of May. Nothing has changed. I've gained 5 pounds in the last 5 weeks (this brings me to the 9 pounds lost, so technically I HAD lost 14). Nothing has changed. Why am I not losing weight?

I eat in my calorie range (about 1800). I do not eat any grains. I have not been successful at exercising but trying to get back into it!
