There is a great YouTube channel by Jennifer Maker that has lots of tutorials for Cricut machines. I think she has one for how to cut vinyl decals larger than the mat.

I use my cricut sporadically. Some times I make letters for scrapbooking. I use it to cut out butterflies out of patterned paper and other shapes to embellish pages and cards. Do I use it to get the most out of it? Probably not. But I like having it. It is great for hearts for Valentine's Day. About the size of the mat and making something larger..I don't know. Interesting question. My use is strictly personal.

What do you make with yours?

(Also, just personal stuff, for a hobby? Or is crafting a business for you? If you don't mind my asking.. Otherwise just ignore this...)

Is it true you can only cut things that are the size of the mat?
I wanted to do a large-ish vinyl decal for my wall.
Well, I need to build up to that in skill first, of course!

Christmas cards, window decals... Iron-on gifts. Scrapbooking supplies...?

What else do people make? Or you i particular?
I'm struggling to come up with ideas to use it "all the time" - but maybe once I get started...?

Thanks!
Marla

I use mine all the time. I have had it for years. I think it is easy to use and fun. There used to be active threads but they seem to have stopped.

Have you used it yet? Mine's not out of the box yet.

Do you see any active Cricut threads?
I'm not finding a lot of activity. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Feeling a bit overwhelmed. . .

Thanks!
Marla

I got my Cricut the week before Christmas. I was hoping there was a team. It looks like there are several Cricut owners here.

That's great! I just got one.
It seems a bit overwhelming.
I hope it's not a huge learning curve...

So far I've just been doing scrapbooking, traditional and digi.
Then I got this. Wow!

What kinds of things have you made with yours?

Hi!
I'm looking for a Cricut users' team.
Anyone out there using one?

Thanks,
Marla
