Hi there,
Usually I have belly dancing today but because the schools are closed we can't have class. Plus, for the past week I have been sick as a dog! I have a sore throat, earaches, my voice is husky, my eyes are leaking (lol) and the list goes on. I hopped on the scale this morning and I was down, but I haven't been eating anything either. So, we'll see what happens when I feel better. Thanks for the encouragement, and you're right, it sounds like you're trying to do too much today. Break it down and if you can't get to it all, don't beat yourself up over it. I'm going to take a nap! Take care.

Hello! How's it going? I hope all is well with you!! Today is a brand new day. Full of all sorts of possibilities. Today I will be following the check box tracking system. I also have my exercise class plus some Wii exercises to do. But I will definitely break it down to one task at a time. Looking at all I want to accomplish for the day can be downright discouraging. So one at a time it is. The girls finally won their first hockey game! Yay!! They play again sometime in March. It's been a long time coming .
Didn't do that well yesterday. But today is a new day, full of promise. I hope your day goes better, Jen

Hi there,
Haven't heard from you in a couple of days, are you alright? We got slammed with that damned storm, my exercising is shoveling today. Did you do anything for Valentines Day? I don't know if I told you that hubby and I went to a "paint and pour" and the instructor taught us how to do two lovebirds sitting on a tree branch. We had fun, although the lasagna wreaked havoc with my weight loss. I was up the next day. Because of the storm, we did not have to volunteer at the art center as she closed it down once the snow began to fly, which was about 1:00. Anyway, I'm back in the saddle again. How are you doing? When are you going away? Take care.

Hi there,
I would love to be your accountability buddy. I need to lose at least 50 pounds so we're well suited. I am 56 and want to get healthy and stop all these little aches and pains that I have, especially walking up the stairs! For exercise, I am taking belly dancing lessons, which is great. It works on all the core muscles and then it also "isolates" muscles so you get a wonderful workout. I also take tap dance lessons. I did it as a kid and loved it so I figured I'd still love it, and I do. Then, the rest of the week I walk. I am weighing and measuring my food and trying not to eat out so much. Also, I used to be able to drink 8 8oz. of water a day but I had given that up when I was very sick. So, now I'm trying to get back there, I began with 3 cups, now I'm up to 5 a day, so I have seen progress. And I have lost 15 pounds, so it's been worth the effort.
