132, 4 more to go! A quarter inch off my thighs, fat keeps shifting around my belly and butt. Its amazing how much work I still have left seems to me that there is no way my inches will be back to where they were in 4 pounds. I think this is one of those moments when you realize just how little the scale says about you.

I love the feeling when you can feel new/increased muscle tone. I definitely understand the feeling when you are putting on muscle and losing fat but it doesn't seem line anything is happening at all. My biggest struggle is maintaining motivation when there are little or no measurable results. Keep on keepin on! emoticon

Another pound down, some change in the measurements but not enough for me to actually log it lol. I've had so much shifting (fat) that I somehow actually feel fatter lately. Likewise I can feel the changes in my muscle so I know good things are happening underneath it all

Somehow I overlooked all the activity happening here.

2BROKEN4U I am really with you on what you are saying here, I find it is such a fine line between not being a perfectionist and maintaining a consistent effort to be healthy and not ignoring red flags AND especially not beating myself up (not even a little) over them.

My own progress report that is long overdue it that the wave of success I had been riding up until my MIL visit in May ended then I did gain back about 10 lbs. In the new year I had a motivation moment or wake up call, or whatever you would call it. I realized that my son is now over a year old and I will want to think about getting pregnant in about a year and I know I will have an easier time with pregnancy if I start it significantly lighter that I was when I got pregnant with my son. It would be awesome to have a lot more clothing choices while I am pregnant, plus sized pregnancy clothing is quite the niche market and I want to feel a greater sense of celebrating my body while pregnant. I do not want to feel the ache in my knees like I did last time.

So after hearing that January was the best time to buy exercise equipment I discussed it with my husband and bought an elliptical trainer. Having it at home is really helpful!! However I am thinking I have allowed too much flexibility with my eating plan and thus have had little or no results.

So back to basics I go.

I whole heartedly agree, after all the life changing events that have happened since Anara's arrival I'm not very hard on myself over this. But if I don't see it for what it is I'll allow myself to continue slipping until it consumes me. I got enough going on without that added depression lol

I read a blog or something earlier today on here about giving up our perfectionism. We don't expect our kids to be perfect, and usually treat them so much better when they make mistakes than we treat ourselves. We have to cut ourselves some slack, realize that every day (or week, etc) is not going to go perfectly, and resolve to do better the next day. You've come so far, over half-way to goal. Get this monkey off your back and get back on track!

It's been awhile since I updated, It's been a struggle. I just had to give up and acknowledge my body has no interest in burning that last 10lbs while I am still taking care of baby. I workout and am just hungrier afterwards, I had to stop caring about the scale and start focusing on non scale victories, but lately the scale has been moving YAY! I finally made it past that 137/138 brick wall. It's still a work in progress I will lose 2lbs then be famished a day or two and gain one back, 2 steps forward one step back. I'll get there it'll just take twice as long. Where as I'm still nursing I have to pay attention to what my body says.

Nothing gained nothing lost. It's hard to get an accurate weigh though, since I'm up guzzling water all through the night (when I wake up to feed the baby) and who knows what my boobs weigh when they are full

TLC505: I saw your post from April and I wanted to say that I hope you are doing well. It is really hard sometimes to keep going, especially when you are so very close to your goal. You think...eh, close enough, right? lol Something that is helping me is remembering not to punish myself for the bad days. Start each day fresh. Don't starve yourself today because you binged yesterday. I really hope that you are having a better time with everything. Keep going...you absolutely CAN do it!

I decided when I started this process again, I would start a fb page and invite all my friends. On the page, I explained that it was to keep me accountable and, hopefully, inspire people with my journey. I find that checking in daily and posting my weight every other day makes me rethink my daily choices. I think...if I eat that and I gain weight, who am I inspiring with my poor choice and will it make me happy? It may not be for everyone, but I am doing very well with it.

Thank you TLC505!

I hear you on the energy, on gray days I really struggle. What I find helpful is talking myself into maybe 5 or 10 minutes of activity. I usually feel physically better and then I have more emotional energy.

My progress report is that I hit a pound less than 30 pounds of weight lost and then my mother in law was visiting so I prioritized tidying up and getting our home ready for the visit. So in progress I have stalled but saying I have maintained is much more accurate. I maintained my healthy eating habits and maintained some amount of exercise. Both of which are huge for me.

Hello! How is everyone doing? Anything going well or things not going so well?

I am having a bit of a plateau for about 10 days or so. However since I have my eating plan worked out in a way that is straightforward I have been sticking to it. I want to be around for a very long time for my son.

I found out this past weekend that John Pinette passed away at 44, he was a huge favorite of mine and my husband. It was a reminder that we are all mortal and was an affirmation to keep going.

On a slightly vain note I have noticed an increase in muscle tone on my bottom emoticon and I can feel the difference in my thighs.

Sending prayers and good wishes to all!! Set yourselves up for success!!

Hear hear!

I am so excited to report a victory for myself today. I am able to wear my wedding band again!! It fits snugly but that just means I have lots of room to lose more weight. emoticon

Next non scale victory will be to wear both my wedding band and my engagement ring.

I hope everyone else is doing well!! Have a great weekend!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi, I am back here. Again. and I hope I'll be bale to stick to my goals. I have delivered a boy last 2009, and was able to track my weight for a year or so...and then I decided to enroll to a doctorate degree and Boom! I got so busy and now I am at 143 lbs. And with my height of 4 ft 9 inches, the BMI says I am obese. OMG. Really? No wonder my ankles hurt and I cannot move quickly just like before. I am only 32 but i am so sluggish all the time. I'm in a verge of crying right now having realized this while typing. I wanna fit into my old jeans again and be not asked If i am now pregnant with a second baby. That really sucks.

Well i guess, nothing will get us to our goals but by discovering on our own that we like to change.

Hello to all! Today I celebrated a non-scale victory! I was able to zip up my pre-pregnancy jeans. A bit too snug to wear around but HUGE improvement from trying them on about a month ago.

Hello everyone! I would love to hear how everyone is doing so we can better support one another.

Kicking things off I am working on my goals in increments and last week I accomplished my first mini-goal, I am 10 pounds down.

Please post about any progress you may have had.

Take care!
