I agree I wish there was more activity on the team. I joined to have extra support and motivation with my weightloss as most of my friends are wide spread so hard to get support at home. And I still have not made any friends on the site and seems like most people track their stuff and keep to themselves. I think we need to get the spark back into sparkpeople.

I feel like all of the spark teams are kinda dead, When I started spark, there were no or less advertisements, now everything is full of popups and videos that stall my computer. Even when I am trying to track my calories some of the advertisements pop up as I am typing. Makes me want to jump ship and go somewhere else. Also what is with all the food ads, that doesn't help. I am currently looking at a screen with 4 ads ... seems a little excessive to me. On top of that I find that the articles are starting to have conflicting advice. I can't give an example off the top of my head, but I know I have read a couple things recently that have left me scratching my head.

But I am sticking with spark for now, cause I don't want to learn a new site.

To revive the team I would start by making new progress threads and introduction threads and burying the old ones. I don't want to read 600+ introductions to people who have moved on and don't actually use the team any more. I just want to know who is currently here.

I am looking for a more active team as well. My baby was born in July, and I started walking at 2 weeks PP. By the time I returned to work at 6 weeks PP, I was up to three miles. I really didn't gain all that much, and was at my pre-pregnancy weight before I came back. But then soccer started for the older kids, and that was followed by the holidays, and I struggled to find time to exercise and gained back a few pounds. I've been back on SP for a couple of weeks, and am doing well with diet, down 6.6 lbs. Struggling to find that sweet spot with carbs so that I can keep up with nursing and still lose consistently. Hoping to get the family through "the sickies" that we keep passing around and get myself into some kind of routine before we start chasing the kids around at softball and baseball every day!

This is a rather belated reply but I think there is a number of us who feel exactly this way. I hope you are doing well with your little one (s) and your goals. I would love to read more about any of your struggles or triumphs.

This team seems so very very dead... Is anyone interested in being active on it?
Any ideas to revive it? I would love to have somewhere to go and chat with people, get new ideas, set goals, receive a pat on the back....
Anyone else feel this way?
