My pedometers suck, I gave up tracking steps, so will have to get something that works better, but that will not be happening until I see a good price.

Do you walk to the grocery store? I do, too, and I'm famous at my store for it - they think I'm such an oddball! Seems to me crazy to lug around a 3000 pound car when the store is just a mile away and I can carry three days' groceries easily in my day pack.

Fitbit says I walked 124 miles for the month of September.

I did remember to wear my pedometer a couple days this week and yep failure. Put it on and before I even left the house I checked the numbers, then after a very busy morning I checked the numbers when I went to lunch, the darn thing had not moved one step. Then when I checked the number when I got home, the numbers were lower. This pedometer is not like the first ones I had with a reset button that you can accidentally hit, it is covered and you can not get to it, Oh I hate the things, so no point.

Just know I was uber busy all days at work and even after work at my local grocery has veggies cans on sale 3/$1, so been making multiple trips each evening getting the veggies and other items. Whew, tired, lots of walking.

Because sometimes they reset themselves in the middle of the day. And the fitbit can do things the freebies can not do. And again I forgot to get one of the freebies out and put it one today. Really self, need to get one out.

Last night I was so tired I fell asleep watching tv waaaaay before my normal bedtime, my conclusion is since the last few days I have been soooo tired I must be fighting something or my allergies must be more kicked up than I realize.

Well, if the free pedometers are giving you an accurate step count, what's the point of spending the money?

Seriously considered a fitbit, but never made the leap. Perhaps a retirement gift for myself.

I just bought my third FitBit. #2 fell on a tile floor yesterday morning and blew apart. It's still working, but I can't read the data without plugging it into my computer, so it's not nearly as useful for my morning runs now. Hopefully the new one will arrive very quickly.

I really need to remember to wear a pedometer. Keep forgetting.

Yesterday I stayed home from work with a horrid headache, but about 1p it felt better so I started cleaning the family room. It was a mess. My daughter and her BF had taken over. What I discovered is they are pigs. So I boxed up all the stuff they should have been dealing with, I am not cleaning up after her, I put her stuff to keep right in with the stuff she should have been throwing out. Now she will have to go thru it all and deal with it, TONIGHT. She is 27 years old for crying out loud. If she had been home she would have gotten a piece of my mind, so in short I got one heck of a work out. Tonight more cleaning, less of her stuff, this time running the sweeper and dusting now that I have her mess out of the way. grrrrr

I am baffled by what I found, don't understand, she knows better but I have been giving them their privacy by staying up in my room, things were shoved under the furniture, out of sight. Never in my life have I had such a mess. Never will I again, that is if she wants to continue to live in my house and entertain her BF in my house.

Well on to better subjects, remind self to pull out one of the several free pedometers that I have lurking in my vanity drawer.

Yeah, so both of us are out of the age range, but we're the ones who're here, so might as well...

I didn't run yesterday or today, but I'll try to get a run in tomorrow morning.

I will put the pedometer on tomorrow and give it a try. We really do not have many who are active on this team. Technically I am to old for this group now as I am actually 60, silly me.

Anybody interested in joining me in a team challenge? Our team currently has 730 members, so I propose we try to log 730 miles as a team by the end of September. I'm not sure how many of us are actively checking the team pages and will join in, so this could be a huge challenge, or it could be altogether too easy - who knows? Anyone care to join me?
