I just finished week 2, and I agree that it is hard doubling the time. BUT, Weeks 2 and 3 are basically the same (except you add a cycle during week 3). I think this is how they justify doubling in the second week. I say try it (which you did...WTG!) and you may be surprised at what you can do. Finishing today's session, my hubby wanted me to try running up a pretty steep incline (the 5K we are training for is over a bridge). I just knew I couldn't do it after running the plan, but I set a goal to make it to the first tree. When I got there, I thought I could go more. I made it to the top! Most of the time, I really surprise myself. So....keep trying! If you can't do it, slow down or repeat a week.
