Yes, it does, although I haven't really paid attention to that. The price is now $139; it was $169 but I had a 20% coupon for Dick's Sporting goods. Honestly, for my needs it is perfect. I don't like, want or need anything too technical either. Here's a link to the info on the Garmin web site.

SALTYCHOCOLATE, does the 35 track steps too? I have the FR10 and found out it is now discontinued.. Easy gadget since I am not so techy.. Interested for when mine goes out.. Do you like the HR on the wrist? Sounds nice.

I bought all of my boys the 35 for Christmas last year and they like it. I kinda wish I had that instead of my reg. Garmin which is big. My oldest son wears his Garmin as a reg. watch so he can log his steps.

Thank you for starting this. I had a Garmin 210? Or 230. Loved it, but strap broke and one that you can't get replacement strap. I was looking at 35. So thank you for sharing. I will go and get it.

Thanks for replying. I ended up buying the 35, which has the HRM in the wrist band. I bought the 35 because none of the local stores sold the 25 and I needed it NOW! As it turns out, Dick's Sporting Goods had the 35 in stock and I had a 20% off coupon (woo hoo!). And now that I have the 35, I really like having the HRM in the wrist, and the watch face is much larger. So, all in all, I'm glad I bought the 35.

Hi Salty,
Just saw this. My daughter likes her Garmin 15. Sorry, no experience with the 25. I have a 235. Might have more bell$ and whistles than you want or need but its a $weet watch. Can't say I miss the HR strap and the wrist based HR monitor seems pretty accurate. Happy running! When my prior Garmin died (I think it was a 230) I buried it alongside a trail I wore it on for miles and miles and miles. I wave at it as I go by. I just couldn't bring myself to throw it in the trash lol. It deserved better!

I have a Garmin 15 that I think is on its last legs; I want to replace it with another Garmin. I'm looking at the Forerunner 25. I don't listen to music while I run and I have a heart rate monitor strap. Does anyone have the 25? Do you have other suggestions? I don't want to spend a lot of money. I don't need or want a lot of bells and whistles. Thanks!
