Thanks Chez!! I appreciate your offer. I also have a 10 year old daughter that I do not want to see in the same situation as me so it is even more important for me to smarten up!
I agree, its small changes. I am pretty good at getting my water in. That is a great goal though. I found when I initially lost weight that the amount of water I drank played a significant role in my success. I need to get off my butt and exercise.

Hi there,
I'll be your buddy or one of them. I am 56. Right now I'm about 50 pounds over weight and want to start losing weigt to become healtier. I am making small changes in the way I live, such as drinking 8 8oz glasses of water a day, weighing and measuring my food, and eating more fruits and veggies. I used to drink 8 8oz. of water a day and stopped when I got really sick, so I began by drinking 3 first and now I'm up to 5. I thought doing something each day would help me. Just rememer, it took you a while to get that weight on, it's going to take you a while to get it off. Make small goals that you know you'll be able to keep and things will begin to happen for you. I have already lost 15 pounds since Thanksgiving. I know this doesn't seem like a lot of weigt for the time but I already feel 100% better just losing that amount of weight. Hi, I am 39 years old and need to lose about 60-75 lbs. I previously lost 50 lbs on SP and gained 30 lbs back thinking it was safe to stop tracking-apparently not! I am married, have a 10 year old daughter, I work full time at a desk job. My hubby works shift work so its hard to have a consistent exercise routine. I am also doing my Master's degree which takes a lot of time. I would love to have someone to check in with on a regular basis. Thanks!
