According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) our bodies energy or Qi is in constant motion that ‘peaks’ every 2 hours with one of our internal organs which means that during this time period the organ is most active. Working in sync with our internal organs helps us to achieve good health. If the energy is blocked or out of balance, symptoms will be more noticeable during the organs active 2 hour period.

7.00pm to 9.00pm is the time of the Pericardium and Circulation. The pericardium is not really an organ but does have an important part to play in our bodies; it is the thin membrane that surrounds the heart and the heart pumps the blood to circulate around our body. This is time for being and feeling at home with our family and ourselves, a time when you can feel safe and warm. A time to have a light meal, of relaxing, putting your feet up and simply just being yourself. A time to spend doing things just for you; maybe an evening class or family time: games, crafts, reading and playing or listening to music.

Joyful Moment - All you need to do today is:

To enjoy your evening. Have a light meal for dinner and do what you want to do. The day has been spent doing things for others, your work, boss, community work, household chores, shopping for supplies etc. The evening is for you and your family. Maybe read a book, go to yoga, read a story to your children, watch a family movie together, paint your nails, whatever makes YOU happy.
