I have heard good things about doing this, but sadly I usually forget until after I am already in the shower. T-Tapp talks about it also. Have to try to remember!

Before your shower each morning it is a good idea to brush your skin with a natural soft bristle brush. It is one of the best ways to care for your skin. All you need is preferably a long handled dry skin brush with soft natural bristles, or a loofah will suffice. When cleaning your face, use a wash cloth with your cleanser or exfoliating cream.

It is easy and only takes between 2 to 5 minutes which is not long, considering its many benefits to the body. The skin being the body’s largest organ is also an organ that helps to eliminate toxins from the body; one third of your body’s daily impurities are eliminated through the skin. Therefore when you brush your skin you will be removing the dead skin cells, which will accelerate toxin elimination; brushing will help tighten the skin; stimulate blood flow and circulation; help to reduce cellulite by bringing nutrients and oxygen to the dermis where the epidermis gets it nourishment; anti-aging through cell regeneration, stimulating both the sweat and sebaceous glands, thus contributing to the restoration of moist, supple skin.

When you have finished, shower and give your skin a good washing to get rid of the dry skin cells that you have brushed off. After your shower, a light body oil while your skin is still damp from the shower will give your skin the perfect amount of hydration without feeling heavy.

Don’t brush over bruises, varicose veins, sun burnt skin, cuts, broken, weak, irritate or infected skin.
Never skin brush during an active cancer state or over enlarged lymph nodes
Avoid breasts and genitalia area
Seek doctor’s advice first if you are pregnant

Joyful Moment - All you need to do today is:

To use a dry wash cloth or something else that is suitable if you do not have a skin-brush, until you are able to buy one, and try it every morning for a week to see how you feel; 30 days to see and experience the changes. If you like what it does for you, keep it up.
