Just started Spark after not succeeding at a year of Noom. Current weight 179lb. Since my son was born 11 years ago I've gained 40lbs, probably because of medications I'm now weaning off of. It doesn't sound like much, 4 lbs/year, but it's been awful watching the scale go up and up. I'm organized now to workout 5+ times/week and am going to try to get a meal plan going. I'm glad to have community to share this journey with!

Thought we would try this one again as if I would've seen it sooner I would've participated.

From our Suggestion Box:

* Suggestion was for a January through June 5% challenge. I want this to be a FLEXIBLE, LOW STRESS, PERSONAL challenge. Set your own goal and let us know what it is so we can support you. Put your personal challenge details in your original team post so we know what you are striving to achieve. I may have to modify my challenge to go January through December in order to meet the goal but it’s a personal challenge so who cares =)

* Suggestion was for weekly weigh in's where we edit our original post each week to show the loss or gain. Some may want to just weigh in monthly or whatever. I’m flexible. I will do weekly for team support. *** please edit your original post with new data – instead of making new post – in order to make tracking of your goals easier for me =}

* DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED to note your weight in actual numbers. If it’s more comfortable for you, you can just post “gain” or “loss” in order to help us see what is going on with you. Sad to say, you will be seeing my numbers for the sake of accountability and support.

In order to win the EXTRA Special 5% loss challenge SPARK Goodies a starting and ending weight will need to be noted. Other goodies will be given to anyone who participates in any manner – it’s the team spirit that counts.
