When measuring your waist, you place the tape measure a 1/2" above your belly button, NOT at your narrowest point. That's how you can be an apple and still have an hourglass figure (like me too!).

I don't have a tape measure handy right now, but I did an estimate from my measurements last year and I am an apple, but I will take accurate measurements when I go upstairs and see how I am doing, I am still most likely an apple.

I measured this morning, have been taking measurements once a week just for my own information. I was pleased to see I had dropped another 3/4" overall. I'm not surprised, my clothes are feeling loose! As for body shape, my guess would be Pear.
