I don't think it really made any difference as I have a pretty set schedule of bedtime and time to get up which allows for 7.5 to 8.5 hours of sleep each night. I never set an alarm and awake at almost the same time every day. I am happy with my schedule.

I have sleep issues and now accept that I don't always need/get 8 hours every night. I am ok now with 5+ hours and don't think more about unless I feel tired, then I will try to nap.

An earlier reading on SparkPeople about sleep made me adjust my sleep schedule. This just reinforced my goal of 7-8 hours a night. So, it helped me work on my goal.

The thing that has helped me sleep during quarantine is that I now work every morning, even though I am only part time. I used to only work two days a week and so I didn't have to get out of bed early the other days so my sleep schedule would get all shifted. Now I have to get out of bed for work every day by 7:30 am. I find that I am falling asleep between 10:30 pm and midnight and waking up around 7:15 am every morning, even on the weekends. Today, I slept in until 8 am and that felt late. I am much better rested and far more productive most days.

Not really. I can go to bed early and still only get 4 to 5 hours of sleep. Too many changes in my life and too much stress in the world

I am Serena. I now live most of the time at a lodge on the western side of Washington state. I was ready to retire this past July but decided to transfer and stick around for another couple years. I don't think I will last another couple years. The ranch just sold and will close shortly and that will be my opportunity to pay off my new truck and my barn and finally leave the workforce behind! We are opening a destination airbnb and I will be working full time with that and training my new Gypsy

Our Spring theme Self Care is defined as taking an active role in protecting your own well-being, particularly during periods of stress. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. During sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health.

Did focusing on Sleep improve the quality of your sleep or the amount of your sleep?
