I started to answer on your blog then I decided to move it here, trying to get the group going and all . You should eat a little extra for all your long hours. Try for something higher in protein and fiber. To be honest with you I don't think I'm ever satiated from a snack, but things I snack on are cottage cheese with berries (or pineapple yum!) Peanut butter on celery, carrots, apple, or whole wheat bread. Greek yogurt with a little honey and fruit. Lunch meat rolled a round string cheese. Raw veggies with dressing you can eat a ton of veggies for basically no calories and all that chewing leaves you feeling full! Oatmeal is also good, I often make a batch in the slow cooker then eat it a few days.
I was having a serious problem with grazing after dinner myself a friend recommended an app called twogrand (its free) you take pictures of what your going to eat and it goes on your feed. It has helped because I don't want to have to admit to everyone what I am shoving in my mouth lol.

This topic could not have come at a better time lol. I have realized the last couple days that my late night eating is throwing a major wrench in my progress. I often stay up until midnight or so because once my kids go to bed that's when I have the most quiet and uninterrupted time to get school assignments completed. I am trying to come up with a plan to add an additional fulfilling snack or small meal at night that will satisfy my food needs without adding hundreds of calories. I am less concerned at this point about going over calories (if it's not by a ton) than by trying to maintain my range given I am up roughly 18 hours a day. Some healthy and filling suggestions for a late snack would be much appreciated!

Thought we should make a place to discuss food. It's my one true love you know, just kidding but it is a huge weakness for me, good, rich food. It's also a big part to this loosing the weight bit.
Anyway have a question about food ask away see what others might think, or do. Breakfast ideas? Lunch Ideas? Protein packed snacks? Don't be shy ask away
