I just visited your SparkPeople page .... just moving forward toward 50.... They are the great years. Appreciate this time of your life. I am approaching the beginning of the 80s with my wife of 55 years 2-1/2 years behind me. Stay healthy and reward yourself for the good times.

We still buy green bananas and shovel snow and hope we can ride our motorcycles next year.

Right on the coast - Newburyport. Beautiful Newburyport a Coast Guard City.

We were predicted to get one to three but it just hung over us for a little longer than anticipated. We have a daughter and family that live in Williamsburg and they got about what you got.

Today is Tuesday, 12 December 2017 - the 12th day of the 12th month of 2017 and the sun is not shining. We got some snow coming today. We had seven inches of snow last Saturday. Wonderful!

Hi, I like the categories emoticon I am from Massachusetts and am currently viewing the Red Sox off and on tonight..

Inches Inches Inches lost are more important to me than pounds... :) well POUNDS ARE STILL IMPORTANT NOT AS MUCH AS INCHES THOSE SHOW THE REAL PROGRESS AND THAT IS A HEALTHIER WAY TO MAINTAIN YOUR WEIGHT!!

carbs, protein and fat are considered the "macronutrients" or building blocks of food; all food is some combination of the three. (except for alcohol, which isn't really a food, which is its own thing).

the "micronutrients" like vitamins can be tracked separately and are important but starting with the "building blocks" is a good way to start tracking if having 200 different things (like ash!?) tracked!

You can add more nuyrients to track, Go to your nutrition tracker, scrool down and click in change goals. Clicick on add nutrients ehere you will see a drop down box. You will need to select each nutrient separately. Don't forget to save your changes.

Great questions! I would think they would be good to ask Spark nutritionists. They can give you a good idea of why some things were chosen to track, while others aren't.

Why on our trackers is carbs, protein, fat, and calories the categories it keeps track of...are these the major ones to weight loss? Also I tried adding sugars and sodium to keep track of and they do not show up nor does SP give their recommended amounts....

7 days without laughter makes one weak.
