My journey has begun with simple steps, over and over

I hope that by being relentless here, and keeping myself accountable- to myself! will help me stay on top of bad habits before they go too far...and will encourage me to strengthen the good habits!
I am at a point where despite my many set backs and "slips" I am actually seeing progress in the right direction! I am getting more involved, staying on SP and posting on a more regular basis. I believe being involved here is making a big difference. After a setback in May (poison ivy!) I am determined to pick up my exercise regime, in a way that I enjoy, not a "OMG I HAVE to do WHAT?!?" sort of way- which is entirely possible! I think by being here, and being involved, keeps me closer to staying on track than sheer determination!

Fitness Minutes: 8,837

My Goals:
My goal right now is to get below 350 by June 6, so I have incentive to renew my gym membership! When that goal is reached, I will set my next goal at 10% of what I weigh.

My Program:
~eat well, local, organic, and moderately clean/unprocessed.
~3xweek strength training
~3xweek aerobic (walk/jog until I can run!)

Personal Information:
I live in Southern Ohio. I have one adult son who has moved back home, and while it is great, it is still an adjustment. I work from home and find it way to easy to sit on my butt all day...I want to be fit, and healthy...I need to be- the best years of my life are still ahead of me!!!~

Other Information:
I stress eat. When I don't, I am finding all these weird and disgruntled emotions come out, and even through my tears I can laugh, because I am FEELING things again!

    Thank you so much for the comment on my blog, "really have to get back on track" sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, cause I seen on there you posted about going walking on Thurday. Well I didn't manage to do anything on thursday, but thanks to you and my other spark friends posts, I did get up off my butt and made it to the gymon Friday and getting ready to head back there now to. Thanks for all your support.

    Thanx Amber for your kind, encouraging comments on my blog "closer". It was a refreshing surprise to see someone had read it that i didn't even know. I NEED Spark friends so thanx a bunch! I added you to my page... hoping you'll do the same. I peeked at all your pics... very pretty... :)
