I am a recently retired hospice nurse. I have been married for over forty years and have an adult son and daughter. Two grand daughters and twin grandsons.(they live 250 miles away so I do not get to see them very often) I love cats and have two 8 year rescue ones.
Reached goal in October 2010 having lost 32lbs maintained for 5 years but slowly have regained 12lbs
Sparks keep me from gaining more I have the knowledge and the tools take control again.

My Goals:
Now 62 and feel I need to make the effort to keep fit and healthy.

Reached goal weight October 2010 and have maintained for 5 years but now regained 12lbs so time to take control and shift these lbs.

My Program:
Aim to do 30 mins + exercise every day to run 3 miles twice a week. I am not tracking my food but watch what I eat and need to go for portion control and not use food as a reward . I am also aiming to drink 6+ glasses of water a day.

Personal Information:
My name is Anne I live in Chelmsford in Essex, England. I am 62 years old and am married with two grown up children, four grandchildren (unfortunately they live 250 miles away so my time with them is limited) .
I love cats and have two eight year old rescue ones.
I have taken early retirement I was a hospice nurse. Looking forward to next chapter in my life

Other Information:
I read lots, at present mostly crime and thrillers. I do jigsaws and listen to podcasts on a variety of subjects.
Enjoy my family, home and garden.
Learning to enjoy exercise I run a little, do exercise DVD's and try to do a daily walk.

    Hi Anne
I've been using deliveries by Tescos and ASDA since before Pete had his op in June.
SO convenient, provided you take care to add notes for any substitutes they may offer, or you can get some wild alternatives. Vicki ordered tempura prawns to go with an instore Chinese takeaway and got...............crab paste emoticon emoticon

SO far I've been really lucky and the Christmas order was spot on.The only time I venture into Tesco's now is collect our prescriptions and if you phone to say you're on your way you can go to the front of the queue and be in-and-out in minutes.

Covid is rampant in Great Yarmouth so I'm taking no chances.

Stay safe, hope all are well there. emoticon

oh my gosh, how scary. Glad your daughter is okay, and how nice to have another little one on the way.
We were to have Christmas with our friends but have thought better of it. We'll have something in the summer or at Easter.........Vicki and I are stacking Christmas foods into our freezer for tht very reason. A turkey, mincepies etc. Should be a fun feast in the open air.

Do take care Anne, lovely to see you on here, you only seem to surface when I have health issues LOL
