Yes, it has been a while since I updated this page! And I really want to change photos as I have many in my computer but always depend on daughter or daughter-in-law to help me with that. Maybe I will try it on my own.
Right now I am at weight that one weight loss company told me should be goal. But that is still overweight and I really want to lose 10 more lbs. to be where SP recommends.
I am very proud of the exercise I now get when in the beginning I could not walk for 5 minutes due to a bad knee and hip. Today I get as many as 130 minutes of exercise. Especially love the water aerobics, but also enjoy walking and the recumbent bike.
My husband of nearly 62 years supports and encourages me all the time. And I have just started challenges which I enjoy even though I am not a competitive person. But they do keep me on my toes. During the 56 days of the 2010 Winter 5 % Challenge I hope to lose 10 lbs., a real challenge for me!

My Goals:
To Be Healthy and now to maintain my weight loss.
Be not afraid of going slowly; be afraid only of standing still.
Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to

My Program:
The Nutrition Tracker is my constant buddy as I use it faithfully every day. With my bad knee I didn't think I could exercise much, but now am up to a 40-45 minute walk and 30 minutes of riding the recumbent bike. Losing weight has certainly helped!

Personal Information:
I live in the country outside Wake Forest, North Carolina with my husband of 58 years and where our son and wife are next door with our three grandchildren. We live on the second floor in their Carriage House just a few feet away. We have two more grandchildren who live in Columbus, Ohio. We have a daughter there and a son in Port Clinton, OH.

Other Information:
Much of our summer is spent on Lake Gaston while much of the winter we are in Frostproof, FL.

I saw your question on Lynda's page and I have been thinking about it. I believe that the information we use on Spark is not saved to our computers, but resides on the Spark servers. When we click on a link it tells our computer to look where to find the information we seek. So all that is probably on your hard drive backup is the Spark website address. I may be wrong (I hope I am), but the article we were directed to for finding out about our options indicates that all our personal information will be gone.

Hi Carol, Yes we do have to wait 4 months for the second shot of vaccine. We cannot get the vaccine fast enough here in Canada and the Powers That Be decided that it was better to have more people receive one dose rather than fewer people with two.

emoticon for dropping by my Spark page. I'm struggling to find the time for Spark People these days and have actually left the Scratch Cooking group. A shame but I had to get my priorities right!
Hope you have a lovely weekend
