Returning to SparkPeople was one of the best decisions I made in 2012.

I hit my goal weight of 120 lbs 12/31/12 and it was the best way to end the year. I maintained my goal weight all of 2013 and to celebrate it I joined the At Goal & Maintaining + Transition to Maintenance team.

Motto for 2014: I am an adult!
(And will therefore think and act like one, when my inner 3 year old wants to take over!)

Motto for 2015: Shut up and do it!
I lost my grip on my goal weight and hovered around 130 lbs all year.

Motto for 2016: Sometimes, you just have to be an adult about it and do it!
Rough year, I left the At Goal & Maintaining + Transition to Maintenance team because I felt like a fraud after almost 2 years of not being near my goal weight.

Motto for 2017: Right Now!! (Borrowed from ONEKIDSMOM)

Motto for 2018: I am strong. I am invincible. I am woman. -Helen Reddy (I’m done feeling sorry for myself. Despite the chronic pain, I am determined to get back to my fit self.)

Personal Information:
I call sunny Southern California home.
Although I joined SparkPeople in '09 I didn't give in to the process until 08/26/12, that's the day I consider my Sparkversary. (Thanks to ONEKIDSMOMs The Mud Run Story, for pulling me back in.)
4/22/2017- I was in a car accident (hit & run)
8/1/2018- I started doing Water Aerobics to help alleviate the chronic back pain
11/21/2018- I started doing Pilates to build my core strength
2/22/2018- I started treatment with a new Chiropractor
Mar 2020- Water Aerobics ended; my instructor retired
Apr 2020- My Chiropractor semi-retired
10/11/2020- My Pilates instructor moved on; ending my Pilates sessions
11/27/2020- Resigned to lower my stress and focus on my health

    We got up to 77* here today, but it's going to plunge again for next weekend, down to highs in the 40's. Welcome to what our fair state does for Spring (and Fall, too, for that matter)... wild swings from Winter to Summer and back, interspersed in strings of a day, two days, three days of one or the other!
