The top picture is of me when I started on November 5, 2005 on biggestloserclub.com. Yes, like the show. My weight was 350.

I've been heavy all my life and FINALLY was inspired to lose weight by the show The Biggest Loser. (after season 2) I made the descion I was ready and I am doing this for MYSELF. Not for anyone else! I've had my ups and downs, but I keep pushing thru them.

From 11/5/05 to 11/5/07 I lost 56. lbs. I had my ups and downs believe me. I had lost 67 pounds in 1 year, (that was VERY GOOD for me) but due to personal issues, I gained some back and am in the process of losing it again. This happens to everyone and I know eventually I'll get over it.

After spending a year trying and trying to lose the weight I had gained from personal issue, I kept bouncing back and forth between these 5 pounds. Due to this I finally got some help. On 3/27/08, I had the Lap Band Surgery. Since 3/27/08 I have lost 39Lbs. I know this ISN'T a magic fix, that I have to really watch what I eat and I STILL have to exercise and take care of myself. The Lap Band is only here to help me. I guess you can look at it as it's Bob or Jillian from The Biggest Loser. They help the contestents lose weight because they are training them. My band is my trainer. I don't want anyone to judge me because I had this done. I don't want anyone to look at me differently. I did this for me as I needed some help.

I have joined some wonderful groups. Each one is helping me out. I hope that I am a motivation for them as they are for me.

My Goals:
I plan on making little mini goals (like losing 40 then 30 then 35) that will get me to my 1st BIG goal of 105 pounds gone.

Then I will again do min goals of(30 then 35 then 40) to reach 2nd BIG goal of 105 gone.

Once I reach the 2nd BIG goal this will bring me to my OVERALl goal of 210 pounds gone.

(From 350 to 140.) I feel this is the best way to do it.

My Program:
Watching what I eat as this Lap Band isn't the easiest thing to know what you can eat. It's trial and error.

When I exercise I either am walking, doing the ellpitical, TurnboJam DVD, or Biggest Loser DVD.

Debie....am any only child...Am very family oriented...Enjoy talking/spending time w/family, friends and attending church..
