A little background..... My name is Jennifer and I live in sunny Florida (home of the puffy white clouds). I'm originally from Illinois (suburb of Chicago) but I have lived here for the last 20 years and I LOVE love LOVE it here! I have been with my husband Joe for 23 years and we have three amazing children ages 21, 17 and almost 11. I co-own a framing construction business with my husband and also work outside the home as an Office Manager for a construction company as well. I couldn't be happier with my life except for this weight issue. There is just too much of my life left to live and I don't plan on spending it like this. My goal is to shed 79 lbs. and go from 224 lbs. to 145 lbs. 145 is my weight goal however my ultimate goal would be 135. We'll see how this goes. I am so glad for the continual support of SparkPeople and all the people who make it an amazing place to reach beyond yourself and find your dreams.

This is OUR time, our year and most importantly our lives we are changing from this point on. DIET: I've always done a low carb approach but now I'm working on just calorie counting with a balance of all foods.

Working towards getting back into running.

Personal Information:
I'm working to stop the cycle of dieting and aiming for a lifestyle of eating where I control the food and it doesn't control me.
