I have been on Spark since January 8, 2017. I started at age 69 with hopes to reach my goal weight by my 70th birthday which was July 13th.

I didn't reach my goal within my time frame but I never gave up. I finally reached my 40 pounds weight loss and have been on maintenance.

I have learned many new habits. I no longer drink diet pop aka soda, I drink 8 plus glasses of water daily, exercise daily, I try to eat more fruits and veggies, and I am always working on my sweet tooth.

Life is good and it is always great to hear people say how great I look when they haven't seen me for awhile.

Yes, I get off track but not for long. I never give up on my healthy and fit lifestyle. It is so worth it.

My Goals:
Lose 5 pounds, get back on my maintenance track with my eating, having patience in all that I say and do.

Well, today is 6/8/2020 and now I have 11 pounds that I want to lose. This pandemic which has us staying home hasn't helped. I am trying to let go of my cravings for sweets which is an ongoing goal. I am exercising 6 days a week and keep looking for new things to do. Trying to eat more veggies daily, I do ok on fruits. Today I decided to cut down on carbs. I seem to have an issue when I eat too many carbs. Coffee and 8 plus cups of water are all I drink. I will keep moving forward and never give up!

06/15/2021 Working on 15 pounds I gained during Covid. Trying to stay on track.

My Program:
Eat a healthy breakfast, drink 8 plus glasses of water, exercise daily, and log everything I eat and drink!
