Hi! I used to be overweight by about 20 or 30 lbs. Then I worked really hard to lose weight, which I did by counting calories and working out (rollerblading and swimming mostly). I was able to keep the weight off for a while, but it started to creep back on and I couldn't lose weight or keep from gaining it no matter how hard I tried. This did not help in staying motivated! I found out that I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) so that is a major factor in the weight gain and inability to lose weight. Needless to say I gained back all the weight I had worked so hard to lose and then plenty more. After feeling sorry for myself for the past 2 years, I am excited to get back on track and stay motivated! I've set a very ambitious goal for myself . . . to lose 80 - 106 lbs. (min. of 80 and ideally 106)!

Fitness Minutes: 410

My Goals:
Lose at least 10 lbs. in May!
Drink 64 ounces of water a day!
Exercise a min. of 3-4 days a week!
Results: I lost over 10 lbs. in May - Goal 1 accomplished! I still need to work on my 2nd and 3rd goals . . .

June:
1.) Lose 10 lbs.!
2.) Drink 64 oz. of water a day!
3.) Work out at least 3 days a week!
4.) Enjoy the fact that I am living a healthier life!!!!
Results: Goal 1: I am down 20 lbs.! Goals 2 & 3: I still need to work these. Goal 4: I am enjoying a healthier life and look forward to becoming even more healthy!

July:
1.) Lose 10 lbs.!!!
2.) Drink 64 oz. H2O/day
3.) Exercise at least 3 days a week
4.) Maintain a low-glycemic diet


My Program:
I am following (almost completely) a low glycemic diet. And i am seeing improvements . . . yay! :-D
