Hello my name is Christine and I want be healthy. When I was young I could eat anything I wanted and never gain weight. When I go sick in 2002 I was put on some meds that killed my metabolism. I started gaining lots a weight. I jumped up 30 lbs. in about 3 months. I have not been able to lose it all yet. I still have those last 10 pounds to lose. My biggest problem is motivation. I just have a hard time with it. This is why I am hear to be motivated and inspired by all of you who have made or are making the changes in your life to acheive your own personal goal. I get teased all the time when I talk about eating health or losing weight. Most people see me and think I could stand to gain a few pounds. The last 10 pounds that I have to lose around the mid section. This is a bad place for me because heart disease runs on both my moms and dads side of the family. My mom had her first heart attack at the age of 45, Im 32 years old right now. I have a 75% chance of having heart disease if I dont start eating right and working out. If anyone has any advice on how to stay motivated let me know.

Short term goal: working out consistantly every week , run a 5k in July for my birthday.

Long term goal:
run a 10k befor the year is up


My Program:
Right now I try to log everything I eat. I do Tae Bo 3 times per week, strength training twice a week, and yoga once.

My name is Christine and I live in Montgomery Texas. Im married to a wonderful man named David. I have a sweet loving staffie named China who loves to go for walks.


Other Information:
I love to go running, hiking, to farmers markets, love eating food from local and my own garden. I like helping others make to earth healthy.
