Hello, my name is Christine. I am a born-again Christian. Currently I am a stay-at-home-mom who is looking to re-enter the workforce, Yikes!! I love to crochet, knit, read, and paint "reborn" dolls (they are dolls you get in a kit and when painted correctly and dressed up, they look real) =)
I have battled weight issues for more than 20 years and also struggle with Spondyloarthritis, a rheumatic systemic arthritis that also affects muscles, tendons, and causes fatigue.
In 2011, I almost lost my husband to Bacterial Meningitis, I am so thankful though, that the Lord has given us more time together. He is deaf now and struggles with balance issues in the dark. However, he is my hero, he received cochlear implants last June and returned to teaching full-time last year; he is simply an amazing and strong person, he has praised the Lord since the onset of the Meningitis and all through his rehab. That is why I am back, I can't seem to do this for myself, so I am going to do this for him, I never want him to see me sick because of my weight problem.
Therefore, I am back again determined to lose this weight and gain a healthier perspective of food and fitness. This time I am also going to participate with the SparkCoah program, I think that it may be the missing link for me since I struggle with focus and try to "do-it-all."
I will post my progress and share my experience with the program.
Thanks for visiting my page and please leave a comment, I love to meet new people and am a TEAM person; Together Everyone Achieves More =)

My Goals:
My goal is to change my health by living a healthier lifestyle that includes a healthier diet and more exercise. My weight goal is to lose 50 lbs by next August. That will put me in my top healthy weight range, not skinny, but healthy.

My Program:
I am slowly changing my diet, getting more exercise, tracking my food, and reading FlyLady's Body Clutter book. It discuses letting go of the bad habits that contribute to body clutter; an unhealthy lifestyle that contributes to weight gain and health problems. It's going slow, but it is working.

Personal Information:
My name is Christine and I am from Northern VA. In addition to obtaining a healthier lifestyle, I am working on getting more organized and efficient in my home and personal life.

I went to Wal-Mart with my friend the other night. She was there to buy Valentine's for her the children to take to their party the next day. As we worked our way through the crowded aisle, searching for Valentine's that were appropriate, a gentleman walked up to us. He said, "You know, they won't let kids celebrate Christmas in schools, but they insist on them bringing Valentine's. I think the best thing to do is write 'JESUS LOVES YOU!' on every Valentine!"

Of course, we agreed with him. And, as he walked away, we discussed the fact that what he had said was really true.

And so, I am sending you a special Valentine, to let you know that you are special to me; but more importantly, just to say: JESUS LOVES YOU!

    Happy Valentine's Day

Dropping by to wish you a happy emoticon day. My hope for you is that the emoticon aren't overwhelming. Remember that no emoticon of candy, no matter how beautiful, will taste as good once eaten. Stay emoticon . Be your best emoticon during this season of so many emoticon and emoticon !

If portion control is an issue, ask for emoticon or emoticon . A little dark emoticon is OK if we can manage a serving and leave the rest for another day. Know what you can do and speak up! THIS is all about you! Remember ... emoticon and emoticon are right around the corner!

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day! emoticon
