Hello fellow Kansan! So glad you've visited the "Born in 1954" group! It's a highly motivated team and really upbeat for sure. You'll find alot of encouragement, coupled with fun here. If possible, I find that logging in everyday and checking the team forums is a great way to stay focussed. I wish you much success in reaching your goals. We're glad you're here and we're here for you. All of us are success in the works. Have a great week!

Thanks for encouraging comments on my page! I can relate to knee problems, etc. That is what started my ascension to my highest weight. I used to be very active but then I tore my ACL, had knee surgery, had major problems with my feet, and then it just escalated from there. I used the Isagenix program for weight loss & lost 48 lbs. I had gained some back & now I'm using the Spark program to try to keep on track. I still have 15-20 more to lose. The good news is I am active again. I still have problems, but they are managable. I agree that walking is great. I walk & do x-country skiing in the winter, walking & biking when there is no snow and ice on the ground. I've also learned that I can use the elliptical at our local fitness center. I've had to find things that are easy on my knees and feet. Good luck on your journey. emoticon emoticon
