Hello, my name is Charlotte and I recently moved to Texas! I have battled my weight since college. Although, always loving sports and activity, I never could seem to find time as a hospice nurse to spend time on myself. Well, no longer. Too many times, we give so much of ourselves to others that taking care of ourselves gets lost on the back burner of life. Sometimes, being selfish and taking care of ourselves is not only the best gift that we can give ourselves, but the best gift we can give to others that are special in our lives. I know that this road is not easy and we will all have to face one battle, one road block, and one challenge after another. However, I think that living longer, healthier lives with our loved ones is the most important thing in the world.

I do believe that with the stress of life and the limited time that we all have in our lives, makes it easy to turn to food for comfort. However, we all know that this doesn't help with the problem but only makes it worse. We lack the energy and the good feelings about ourselves to look at life in a more positive and healthy manner.

I keep telling myself how much I look forward to traveling with my husband and being able to do it in comfort. That I will no longer be hindered in doing all the things that I want to do, like hike a mountain and ride a rollercoaster in comfort. Its time to believe in ourselves and our ability to conquer anything. I look forward to sharing my journey with everyone. I look forward to being free of food and taking control of my life for myself once again. WE ARE WORTH IT!

P.S. I did not have an accident in my pants, thats sweat people. My husband took my before picture after my first workout and I didn't realize what it looked like til later.
