Been on and off again for some years. A comment I read from another Sparker in late 2018 Sparked me into action--well some action, anyways! I am trying really hard to stay Sparked!
The above 'Spark' has seen me through every 5% challenge since, but more importantly, has had me on Spark, excercising, logging, steadily since!
11/28/2020 I met my 5% weight challenge goal!

Fitness Minutes: 58,139

My Goals:
I am a Rowdy Rebel, who won't settle!, in the Summer 5% challenge 2020, so I am setting my goal to loose 5% of my weight in the weeks of the challenge. For 2020, I will continue with my 3 three simple, BUT achievable goals: 1. Do Something, Anything! 2. Track everyday. 3. Exercise at least 10 min daily.
Fall, 2020 I met my 5% challenge goal! Current goal is to get to Onderland in 2020, that is my Dec focus.
I got to Onederland, by .2 of a lb, but didn't stay there through Christmas and New Years. Gained 2 lbs, so up one from meeting goal on Fall 2020 at the end of in-between.

My Program:
I've been drifting along making tiny changes each something, anything. Do s, a for 5 min. Do s, a for 10 min--which is now pretty consistent and more than 10 most days. Log my food. Log my exercise. Next week, get that water up there will be the key. Planning my food better will be the following week. Figuring amount of food intake to meet my goal will be the third week. 2020. Focus on DIFERENTIAL--Its the key that unlocks the weight loss door! 2021 Continue on--last year, I discovered I CAN! I WILL!

Personal Information:
Married for many years, retired, all the kids have families of their own so I am blessed with many grandchildren! I am very blessed!

Other Information:
3-22-19. Disappointed in myself that I did not meet my 5% challenge. Lost a bit, gained a bit and pretty much evened off. Fighting off that disgusted negative self talk that accompanies a non successful attempt. On the upside, though, when I'm looking up, haha, is that I've established a habbit of excercise EVERY day again, that I am still tracking everyday, that I still know that IF I follow the spark program, I will be successful despite myself! And, I like the challenge, and competing in it, so I will continue to do that for sure. The solution is out there---I just need to apply it, or apply myself to it!
6/1/2019. Well, again did not reach 5% goal---BUT I did lose 6 pounds, and I am moving every day without fail, & I am tracking every day without fail. I decided at the beginning of 2019 to do those 2 things--and I think this is the 1st time EVER I've still been doing in June what I vowed to do in Dec! Go, me!
9/7/19. Did not make 5%, but am down 5 more pounds.
