I have been doing home maintenance since I got home last Sept. My handyman comes every Tuesday and we work. His wife usually comes too and while he tackles major project ( fixing the gutter, filling is eroded dirt around the house, replacing all weather stripping on every window and I have lots of windows, fixing broken window and doors, staining and sealing trim, .. the list is never ending) she and I have been methodically going from room to room weeding out junk. Now I am starting in on some fresh paint. I'll feel better when it is all done, but that may be a long time from now.

Glad to hear you work is nearly done. So all you have is a microwave?? I know some people make scrambled eggs in the microwave & maybe get some of the pre-cooked bacon? Eating out can really wreak havoc.

The chicken pretty much does not have carbs in it--but store cooked rotisserie chickens sometimes add sugars to get that pretty brown skin that we love. Just check the label & go for lemon herb rather than honey glazed or BBQ sauce etc.

Thanks for the recipe heads up-- this is so fun to work new recipes and without worrying about the fat makes it all feel so naughty. Have you made the Diet Doctor low carb bread? Carole makes it and follows as is and it comes out perfect; I make it with 1/4 c less water otherwise it comes out soggy. Anyway was wondering hoe yours fares.

We ate at Outback in NOLA. I ordered the steak tacos..... they turned out to be 28 points or something ridiculous.....
Carole and Jan got a HUGE steak a a double order of steamed broccoli. Not sure if they are high carb or not.
And yes, tracking before eating/ordering can certainly make the difference. The phone app comes in handy for looking stuff up.... Then again I ate out at Qdoba Wed, and I saw all this point friendly stuff on the app ... but each item was listed a la carte, so by the time you added all the pieces up it was a very pointy lunch....
